TEE 103 - Ile de France

Introduced in the summer of 1957 as an early connection Paris-Amsterdam. Stops: Paris Nord-Bruxelles Midi-Brussel Noord-Antwerpen Oost-Roosendaal- Rotterdam-Den Haag HS-Amsterdam. Departure about 7.40, arrival about 13.10. In the course of time the train was put slightly earlier to a departure of about 7.20 and an arrival of about 12.36. Renumbered in TEE 71.

TEE 108 - Oiseau Bleu

Also introduced summer 1957 as an early connection Brussels-Paris. Stops: Bruxelles Midi-Paris Nord. Departure about 7.45, arrival about 10.30. In the winter of 1958/59 stops were added in Mons and St. Quentin. From the summer of 1965 the train started already in Brussel Noord. In the course of time the timings were also changed to ultimately a departure of about 7.15 and an arrival of about 10.10. Renumbered in TEE 62.

TEE 112 [Winter 1963/64-Winter 1964/65]

During that period a relief train for TEE 122 (see below) on the route Bruxelles Midi-Paris Nord. Times were formally the same.

TEE 119 - Brabant [Winter 1963/64-Winter 1966/67]

Introduced half a year (actually already in the beginning of September 1963) later than its counterpart (see below). Stops: Paris Nord-Bruxelles Midi. Departure about 12.00 (later 11.45), arrival 14.35 (later 14.15). Renumbered in TEE 61.

TEE 122 - Etoile du Nord [Summer 1963-Winter 1966/67]

Successor of TEE 128 with an earlier running time (departure about 9.00, arrival about 14.35). In the course of time speeded up to a departure of about 8.50 and an arricval of about 14.10. Renumbered in TEE 72.

TEE 123 [Summer 1958-Winter 1964/65]

During that period a relief train for TEE 125 (see below) on the route Paris Nord-Bruxelles Midi. Departure time and arrival time (about 20.35) formally the same.

TEE 125 - Etoile du Nord

Started summer 1957 as a late connection Paris-Amsterdam. Stops the same as TEE 103. Departure about 17.45 and arrival about 23.20. A slight speedup in the course of time to a departure of 17.55 and an arrival of 23.15. Renumbered in TEE 73.

TEE 128 - Etoile du Nord [Summer 1957-Winter 1962/63]

Reversal of TEE 125. Departure about 13.25 arrival about 19.00. Renumbered in TEE 122 with a much earlier running time.

TEE 128 - Brabant [Summer 1963-Winter 1966/67]

When TEE 128 (Etoile du Nord) was moved this train was introduced, a season earlier than its counterpart above. Departure Brussels about 17.15, arrival Paris about 19.55. Renumbered in TEE 64.

TEE 130 [Summer 1958-Winter 1962/63]

During that period a relief train for TEE 128 (see above) on the route Bruxelles Midi-Paris Nord. Departure time (about 16.15) and arrival time formally the same.

TEE 145 - Oiseau Bleu

Reversal of TEE 108. Departure Paris about 20.50, arrival Brussels about 23.35. In the winter of 1958/59 stops were added in Mons and St. Quentin. In the summer of 1965 the train was extended to Brussel Noord (departure about 20.40, arrival about 23.30. Renumbered in TEE 63.

TEE 148 - Ile de France

Reversal of TEE 103. Departure in Amsterdam about 18.05 (later 18.10), arrival in Paris about 23.40 (later about 23.30). Renumbered in TEE 74.

Summer 1967-Winter 1970/71

TEE 61 - Brabant

Successor of TEE 119. In summer 1968 speeded up by 5 minutes and again in summer 1969; both times with an earlier arrival. Renumbered in TEE 83.

TEE 62 - Oiseau Bleu

Successor of TEE 108. In 1968 speeded up to an arrival of about 10.00. Renumbered in TEE 80.

TEE 63 - Oiseau Bleu

Renumbering of TEE 145. In 1968 speeded up to an arrival of about 23.20. Renumered in TEE 87.

TEE 64 - Brabant

Renumbering of TEE 128. In 1968 arrival moved to 19.40; one year later to 19.45. Again renumberd in TEE 84.

TEE 71 - Ile de France

Renumbering of TEE 103. Renumbered in TEE 81.

TEE 72 - Etoile du Nord

Successor of TEE 122. In 1968 speeded up to a departure of about 8.55 (one year later about 9.00) and an arrival of about 14.00. Renumbered in TEE 82.

TEE 73 - Etoile du Nord

Renumbering of TEE 125. In 1968 speeded up to a departure of about 17.45 and arrival of about 22.50 (one year later 22.45). Renumbered in TEE 85.

TEE 74 - Ile de France

Renumbering of TEE 148. In 1968 speeded up to a departure of about 18.00 and an arrival of about 23.00. Renumered in TEE 86.

Summer 1971-Winter 1983/84

TEE 78 - Rubens [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Introduced in the winter of 1974/75 as a verly early connection from Brussels to Paris. Stops: Bruxelles Midi-Paris Nord. Departure about 6.40, arrival about 9.05 (from the winter of 1979/80 9.10). In the summer of 1976 (daylight saving time in France but not in the Benelux) arrival in Paris was one hour later. After the restructuring in the summer of 1984 seen back as TEE 84.

TEE 79 - Memling [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Also introduced as counterpart of TEE 78. Departure about 6.45 (from summer 1980 about 6.40) and arrival of about 9.05 (from 1980 about 9.10). In the summer of 1976 (DST in France) departure in Paris one hour later. Abandoned with the restructuring.

TEE 80 - Oiseau Bleu

Successor of TEE 62. In the summer of 1976 (DST in France) arrival in Paris was one hour later. In the winter of 1979/80 slowed down to an arrival of about 10.05. Abandoned with the restructuring.

TEE 81 - Ile de France

Renumbering of TEE 71. In the summer of 1975 the stop in Antwerpen Oost was replaced by one in Berchem. In the summer of 1976 (DST in France) the departure in Paris was one hour later. After the restructuring seen as TEE 85.

TEE 82 - Etoile du Nord

Renumbering of TEE 72. Also here in the summer of 1975 the stop in Antwerpen Oost moved to Berchem. In the summer of 1976 arrival in Paris was one hour later. After the restructuring seen back as IC 82.

TEE 83 - Brabant

Successor of TEE 61. Departure time set back about 5 minutes in the winter of 1971/72. In 1976 (summer) departure from Paris was one hour later. Came back as IC 83.

TEE 84 - Brabant

Renumbering of TEE 64. In 1976 arrival in Paris one hour later. After restructuring IC 86.

TEE 85 - Etoile du Nord

Renumbering of TEE 73. Here to in 1975 Antwerpen Oost was abandoned and Berchem introduced. In 1976 departure in Paris one hour later. Seen back as IC 87.

TEE 86 - Ile de France [Summer 1971-Summer 1974]

Successor of TEE 74. In the winter of 1974/75 (with the emergance of Memling) renumbered in TEE 88.

TEE 86 - Memling [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Early evening reversal of TEE 79. Departure Brussels 18.40, arrival Paris about 21.00 (in 1976 one hour later). During the summer of 1979 running earlier with a departure of about 17.55 and an arrival of about 20.20. On restructuring abandoned.

TEE 87 - Oiseau Bleu [Summer 1971-Summer 1974]

Successor of TEE 63 with a slightly later departure time (20.55). In the summer of 1973 set forward with a departure of 20.30 and an arrival of 23.10. When Rubens was intruduced this service was renumbered to TEE 89.

TEE 87 - Rubens [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Introduced as early evening reversal of TEE 78. Departure in Paris about 18.45 (from summer 1980 about 18.40), arrival in Brussels about 21.05. In the summer of 1976 departure in Paris was one hour earlier and arrival in Brussels two hours earlier. This one came back as TEE 81.

TEE 88 - Ile de France [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Renumbering of TEE 86 (see above). In the summer of 1980 slowed down with a departure 5 minutes earlier. Summer 1976 arrival in Paris one hour later. Also here in 1975 Antwerpen Oost was abandoned in favour of Berchem. Seen again as TEE 80.

TEE 89 - Oiseau Bleu [Winter 1974/75-Winter 1983/84]

Successor of TEE 87 (above). Summer 1976 departure in Paris was one hour later. Also abandoned with the restructuring.

Summer 1984-Winter 1994/95

The summer of 1984 saw a complete restructuring of the services on this route. Some trains retained TEE status others became IC (with first and second class). Again with the summer of 1987 states changed and again in the winter of 1993/94 and in early 1995, but in the period 1993 to 1995 the TEE's were both 1st and 2nd class. TEE 80/EC 80/TEE 80/TGV 80 - Ile de France

This became the morning connection Brussels-Paris. Stops: Brussel Noord-Bruxelles Midi-St. Quentin-Paris Nord. In summer 1985 shortened to Bruxelles Midi with departure about 7.10, arrival about 9.45. In summer 1987 state changed to EC (EuroCity), in winter 1993/94 back to TEE and finally in January 1995 in TGV (Train à Grande Vitesse) without name.

TEE 81/EC 81/TEE 81/TGV 81 - Rubens

The morning connection Paris-Brussels. Stops: Paris Nord-Bruxelles Midi. Departure about 7.10, arrival about 9.35. From summer 1987 EC, next in winter 1993/94 TEE again and from January 1995 unnamed TGV.

IC 82/EC 82 - Etoile du Nord

The morning connection Amsterdam-Paris as InterCity, from summer 1987 EC. Never TEE again.

IC 83/EC 83/TEE 83/TGV 83 - Brabant

The midday connection Paris (departure 11.35)-Brussels (arrival 14.05). Stops: Paris Nord-Bruxelles Midi. Started as IC, changed in 1987 to EC, in winter 1993/94 back to TEE and in January 1995 became an unnamed TGV.

TEE 84/EC 84/TEE 84/TGV 84 - Rubens

The early evening connection Brussels-Paris; stops: Bruxelles Midi- Paris Nord. Departure about 17.15 (later 17.10), arrival about 19.45 (later 19.40). State changes to EC in summer 1987, back to TEE in winter 1993/94 and last to TGV in January 1995 (without name).

TEE 85/EC 85/TEE 85/TGV 85 - Ile de France

Early evening Paris-Brussels, stops: Paris Nord (17.40)-Bruxelles Midi (20.10). Also in summer 1987 to EC and in winter 1993/94 to TEE. This one got (unnamed) TGV state in summer 1995.

IC 86/EC 86/TEE 86/TGV 86 - Brabant

Late evening Brussels to Paris. Bruxelles Midi (18.40)-Paris Nord (21.15). Started as IC it became EC in summer 1987. Was put forward between summer 1989 and summer 1990 to 18.10 departure and 20.45 arrival; got TEE state in winter 1993/94 and became a TGV in January 1995.

IC 87/EC 87 - Etoile du Nord

The late connection Paris-Amsterdam. From summer 1987 EC state, never TEE again.

EC 88/TEE 88/TGV 88 - Watteau [Summer 1993-Winter 1994/95]

Introduced in summer 1993 as late afternoon connection Bruxelles Midi (15.05) to Paris Nord (17.40). Got TEE state in winter 1993/94 and TGV state in summer 1995.

EC 89/TEE 89/TGV 89 - Watteau [Summer 1993-Winter 1994/95]

Reversal of EC/TEE/TGV 88 midday (Paris 12.30-Brussels 15.30). From winter 1993/94 TEE and from January 1995 TGV (without name of course).
