TEE 1 - l'Aquitaine
Train Paris Austerlitz-Bordeaux without stop; departure 17.55, arrival 21.55.
In the summer of 1981 a stop in Angoulême was added, in the winter of
1981/82 a stop in Poitiers, in the summer of 1982 a stop in
St. Pierre des Corps (this one was already added a season earlier in the
reversal). Until the winter of 1983/84 the train was running not on
saturdays and not during the high season; in the winter of 1983/84 the
train ran only mondays to thursdays. Abandoned summer 1984.
TEE 2 - l'Aquitaine
Reversal of TEE 1 with the same modifications, except that St. Pierre des
Corps was already added in the winter of 1981/82. Departure 7.15,
arrival 11.25; moved to departure 8.00, arrival 12.10 in the summer of 1973.
Put half an hour later in the winter of 1983/84. Also this one ran at
first not on saturday and not in high season; in the winter of 1983/84
only tuesdays to fridays. Also terminated summer 1983.
TEE 4 - l'Etendard [Winter 1971/72-Winter 1983/84]
Train Bordeaux-Angoulême-Poitiers-St. Pierre des Corps-Paris Austerlitz;
departure 17.00, arrival 21.30. In summer 1973 lengthened with Hendaye-
St. Jean de Luz-Biarritz-Bayonne-Dax-Bordeaux; departure 17.10,
arrival 23.30. From winter 1975/76 the section Hendaye-Bordeaux was
abandoned and the train did no longer stop between Bordeaux and Paris:
departure 17.45, arrival 21.45. From the summer 1982 the train stops
again in Angoulême, Poitiers and St. Pierre des Corps. Originally this
train did not run on saturdays, from the summer of 1978 in the high season
only on sundays, and from the summer of 1982 not during the high season.
Service terminated summer 1984.
TEE 5 - l'Etendard [Winter 1971/72-Winter 1983/84]
Reversal of TEE 4 (originally). In summer 1973 lengthened to Hendaye and
further to Irun. In the winter 1975/76 the section Bordeaux-Irun was
abandoned, but all stops remained. This train originally did not run on
sundays, from summer 1978 during high season only on mondays, and not
during high season from summer 1982. Terminated summer 1984.
