TEE 593/594/156 - Ligure

Due to late delivery this train started only on 12 August 1957 (slightly earlier than the winter timetable). Morning train from Milano (departure about 6.25) to Marseille (arrival about 13.30). Stops: Milano-Genova/Genova- Savona-Imperia Porto-San Remo-Ventimiglia-Monaco-Nice-Antibes-Cannes- St. Raphaƫl-Toulon-Marseille. In the course of time slightly delayed to a departure of 6.35 and an arrival of 13.35. The number 593 was used on the route Milano-Genova, 594 on Genova-Ventimiglia and 156 in France. Renumbered in TEE 28.

TEE 151/595/596 - Ligure

Reversal of TEE 593/594/156. Departure in Marseille about 16.45 and arrival in Milano about 0.05. In the course of time some slight changes in the timing. The number 151 was used in France, the number 595 on the route Ventimiglia-Genova and the number 596 on Genova-Milano. Renumbered in TEE 27.

TEE 603/604 [Summer 1966]

Relief train for TEE 151/595/596 between Nice (departure about 18.05) and Milano (arrival about 23.50). The number 603 was used on the route Nice-Genova and the number 604 on Genova-Milano. Renumbered in 203/204.

Summer 1967-Winter 1970/71

TEE 27 - Ligure

Renumbering of TEE 151/595/596. Time was changed to a departure of 17.05 and an arrival of 0.00. In the summer of 1969 lengthened to Avignon with the stops: Avignon-Marseille/Marseille-Toulon- with a departure of 15.30 and an arrival of 23.20. During the summers (daylight saving time in Italy but not in France) arrival was set one hour later. Renumbered in TEE 47/48.

TEE 28 - Ligure

Successor of TEE 593/594/156. In the summer of 1969 also lengthened to Avignon with modified departure (about 6.55) and arrival (about 14.45). During the summers (DST in Italy but not in France) departure was about one hour later. Renumbered in TEE 45/46.

TEE 203/204 [Summer 1967 and Summer 1968]

Renumbering of TEE 603/604 as relief for TEE 27 during those two summers. The number 203 was used on Nice-Genova and the number 204 on Genova-Milano.

Summer 1971-Winter 1981/82

TEE 45/46 - Ligure

Successor of TEE 28. During the summers of 1971 to 1975 (DST in Italy) departure was about one hour later. In the winter of 1972/73 arrival time was set earlier at about 14.30. During the summers of 1976 to 1979 (although there was no time difference) the train was run one hour later, and during the winters 1977/78 and 1978/79 the train was run with a departure of 7.35 and an arrival of 14.55. In the winter of 1979/80 the train was set at 6.45 departure and 14.50 arrival, both winter and summer. The number 45 was used on the route Milano-Genova, the number 46 on the remainder. Abandoned in the summer of 1982.

TEE 47/48 - Ligure

Renumbering of TEE 27. During the summers 1971-1975 arrival one hour later. In the winter of 1972/73 departure time was set later at 15.45. In the summer of 1976 the train had a departure of 16.25 and an arrival of 0.15 (there was no time difference). And in the summers of 1977-1979 the train was running one hour later. The number 47 was used on Nice/Avignon-Genova and the number 48 on Genova-Milano. Abandoned in the summer of 1982.
