TEE 155 - Parsifal
Morning train Paris-Dortmund, departure about 7.35, arrival about 14.15.
Stops: Paris Nord- Maubeuge- Charleroi- Namur- Liège- Verviers- Herbesthal-
Aachen- Köln- Essen- Dortmund. The starting date for this train was 3 October,
4 days late. In the summer of 1958 stops were added in
Düsseldorf-Duisburg-Bochum; in the summer of 1959 the train was
truncated to Düsseldorf, in the summer of 1960 lengthened with stops in:
Düsseldorf- Essen- Münster- Bremen- Hamburg- Hamburg Dammtor- Hamburg=Altona,
departure about 7.35, arrival about 17.30. In summer 1962 the stops in
Verviers and Herbesthal were abandoned; in the winter of 1963/64 a stop
was added in St. Quentin and since the summer of 1966 the train stopped
again in Verviers. Renumbered in TEE 43.
TEE 190 - Parsifal
Reversal of TEE 155, departure about 16.45 and arrival about 23.35.
Also here the stops in Düsseldorf- Duisburg- Bochum were added in the
summer of 1958; the train was truncated to Düsseldorf in 1959 and
lengthened to Hamburg Altona in 1960; departure about 13.40 with the
same arrival. Also Verviers and Herbesthal abandoned in 1962 and St.
Quentin added in 1963/64 and Verviers back again in 1966.
Renumbered in TEE 44.
Summer 1967-Winter 1970/71
TEE 43 - Parsifal
Successor of TEE 155. At this time departure in Paris was about 7.25 and
arrival in Hamburg about 17.00. In the summer of 1969 the departure was
moved to about 7.35 with the same arrival time. In the winter of 1969/70
a stop in Duisburg was added. In the winter of 1970/71 the train
was speeded up with an arrival of about 16.35. Renumbered in TEE 33.
TEE 44 - Parsifal
Renumbering of TEE 190 with at this time a departure of about 13.35 and an
arrival of about 23.25. In the winter of 1968/69 the train moved to a
departure of about 13.50 and an arrival of about 23.20. The stop in
Duisburg was added in 1969/70. Renumbered in TEE 32.
Summer 1971-Winter 1978/79
TEE 32 - Parsifal
Renumbering of TEE 44 with a running time moved to a departure of about 12.35
and an arrival of about 21.45. A stop in Dortmund (only this direction)
and Osnabrück was added. During the summers of 1976 to 1978
(daylight saving time in Germany, not in Benelux and France) departure
remained the same with an arrival one hour later. Abandoned in summer 1979.
TEE 33 - Parsifal
Successor of TEE 43 with a stop added in Osnabrück. In the winter of
1971/72 also the stop in Dortmund was added. In the summer of 1972
the running was slowed down with an arrival of about 16.50.
During the summers of 1976-1978 (DST in Germany) departure was one hour
later with the same arrival time. Also stopped summer 1979.
